“Devote yourself to your community around you and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning.” - Mitch Albom

You don’t need to travel the world to become a missionary. Your mission field, it’s exactly where you are. Right now. Your living room. Your job site. Your local gym. Your homeless shelter. Your food pantry. Your small business. Your social media page.

For a long time, I struggled with my identity. I struggled with being “just” a wife. “Just” a mom. It’s easy to get stuck there. If you’re a stay at home mom you struggle with feeling like you’re not contributing enough. If you’re a working mom it feels like you’re always judged for not being home enough. It took me years as a young mom to realize I was exactly who and where I was called to be.

“The need IS the call.” Ray Martinez

Over the last decade, my mission field has shifted and changed tremendously. Every time I thought had it figured out God laughed.

My plan- 2 kids and a dog.
God's plan- 16 children over the course of 9 years.

My plan- stay at home mom until my youngest was in Pre-k then apply for an entry-level position.
God’s plan- become an entrepreneur.

My plan- sell clothing to help make ends meet.
God’s plan- Build a social media empire over 30k strong. Teach women how to love themselves. Fall in love with myself. Manufacture my own hairline. Live debt-free. Get off government assistance. Show my daughters how to be badass moms, wives, and leaders. Have an exceptional marriage. Inspire confidence.

My new plan-
Start a movement of powerhouse women who understand they aren’t alone.
Teach boutique owners how to crush it using FB live sales.
Serve my community and inspire them to change what’s broken in theirs
Raise confident children who love Jesus, think outside the box, and believe in their ability to change the work around them.
Be an exceptional wife, mother, leader, and friend.

Hey God... your move ❤️

Chic Blessings Friends,
